Sycamore is an investment firm that has brought together a high calibre team of professionals investing mainly in Central and Eastern Europe, CIS and Russia. We concentrate on ‘club deals’ between EUR 25 to EUR 100 million.

What we do

We primarily focus on investment cases where our core competences and network of contacts can provide value creation through company turn around, restructuring and via adding our know-how to Eastern European market potential. We aim at increasing operational efficiency and improving governance of the target companies building strong regional leaders. Considering our past experience and track record we feel competent about investments in the region.

 

We have a hands-on approach for our investments. Sycamore team usually takes up the active board and, in some cases, management positions within the target companies.
 

Sycamore team has been engaged in large-scale investment transactions and IPOs.

With respect to each investment, Sycamore forms an alliance with the Industry Advisors to contribute their skills relevant to the investment.

 

The alliance with an Industry Advisor forms a tested and verified approach in the value creation process and adds fundamentally in provision of required competences from strategic, operational and financial perspective as well as facilitates the professional networking in the industry of the portfolio company.
